MetricBridge press kit
Last updated 10 October 2026
Everything you need to write about MetricBridge: what it is, the facts, images you can use, and who to contact. MetricBridge was formerly called Health Export AI. Same app, same open MCP server.
One line
Ask your health data anything. Every answer shows its numbers, and your health data never leaves your phone.
Short tagline: Private health AI that runs on your iPhone.
Boilerplate
Short (about 40 words)
MetricBridge is a private, on-device health AI for iPhone. Ask your Apple Health data a question and every answer shows the exact numbers, dates and calculation behind it. Your health data never leaves the phone. No account, no sign-in. One $24.99 unlock.
Long (about 150 words)
MetricBridge is a private, on-device health AI for iPhone, built by independent developer Philip D'Souza. It reads your Apple Health data read-only and answers plain-language questions about it on the device itself, such as how your sleep is trending against last month. Every answer appears as a provenance card: the headline number, a chart, and the samples, date range and calculation that produced it. A Weekly Health Brief summarizes what changed, written on the phone from your own numbers.
For developers, MetricBridge exports 190 Apple Health and Apple Watch metrics as clean JSON to a
destination you choose, and ships health-export-mcp, a free, open-source, zero-dependency MCP
server with 16 read-only tools and 22 prompts, so Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients can query your real
numbers. There is no account and no sign-in, and your health data is never used for advertising. A single
$24.99 one-time purchase unlocks everything, with no subscription. MetricBridge provides wellness
information, not medical advice.

Privacy facts, stated precisely
- Health data stays on the phone. Answers are computed on the iPhone. No health data reaches a server we operate, and there is no account or sign-in.
- The MCP server makes zero network calls. It is open source, has zero dependencies and sends no telemetry.
- The app does include an advertising measurement SDK. It reports three app events (install, trial start, purchase) and the advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. It never receives health data. Please do not describe the app as having no tracking at all. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
- Wellness, not medical advice. MetricBridge describes your own data and how it deviates from your personal baseline. It does not diagnose, detect, treat or monitor any condition.

Brand usage
- The name is MetricBridge: one word, capital M and capital B.
- On first mention you can add "formerly Health Export AI". Please do not use the old name on its own.
- The website stays at healthexport.dev, and the npm package and GitHub repository keep the name
health-export-mcp. Those are correct and current. - Please do not alter, recolor or crop the app icon.
- MetricBridge is not affiliated with Apple. Apple Health, HealthKit, iPhone and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc.
