Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 August 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Health Export AI app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app does

Health Export AI reads health and fitness data from Apple Health read-only, with your explicit permission. It can answer plain-language questions about that data on your device (Ask and the Weekly Health Brief), and it can write a JSON summary to a destination you choose — your own iCloud Drive, a local folder, or a network endpoint (LAN or webhook) you configure — so an AI agent you control can read it. The app never writes to or modifies your Apple Health data, and your health data never passes through any server operated by the developer.

License

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to the app except where these Terms are more specific. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as that EULA allows.

Purchases and subscriptions

Not medical advice

The app describes your own data and how it deviates from your personal baseline. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Anything an AI agent produces from your exported data is for general information only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified health provider for medical decisions, and never disregard professional advice because of something produced from this data.

Your responsibilities

Advertising measurement

The app includes Meta's advertising SDK so we can tell which adverts lead to installs. It reports app events to Meta — that the app was installed, that a free trial started, that a purchase happened, with amount and currency but no product name — and your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. It never receives health data. iOS asks your permission first; declining changes nothing about how the app works, and you can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Meta is an independent controller of what it receives. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Provided "as is"

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported data will be complete or accurate for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
