Accessibility statement
Prepared on 10 October 2026
MetricBridge wants its website and iPhone app to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, larger text or reduced motion. This statement covers the website at healthexport.dev and the MetricBridge app for iPhone. It says what we aim for, what we have checked, and where we know we fall short.
Conformance target
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is also the level referenced by EN 301 549, the standard used for the European Accessibility Act.
Conformance status
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform. The app has not been formally assessed, so we make no conformance claim for it yet.
What we do
- Pages declare their language, use one main heading and a logical heading order, and have a main landmark.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Body text and link colors are chosen to meet the AA contrast ratio of 4.5 to 1 against the page background.
- Wide tables and code samples scroll inside their own box, so pages reflow on a small screen without two-way scrolling.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The site works without an account, and the documentation pages work without JavaScript.
Known limitations
These are the gaps we know about today.
- App language coverage. About 140 English strings in the app have not been through a final wording and localization pass, so the app is not fully localized in every language it offers.
- Doctor report (PDF). The report's headings, labels and metric names appear in English in every language. We have also not checked the PDF for tagging, so a screen reader may not read it in a useful order.
- App not audited. We have not completed a structured VoiceOver, Dynamic Type or Switch Control review of every screen in the app. Charts in answers may not have a full text alternative.
- Animated demos on the home page. The home page plays scripted terminal and chat animations. They are illustrations, and the same information is in the text around them, but the animations themselves are not described step by step.
- Older blog posts. Some comparison tables are wide and need horizontal scrolling inside the table on a phone.
- English only. The website is available in English only.
How we assessed it
This is a self-assessment by the developer. It has not been reviewed by an external auditor. On 10 October 2026 we checked the page templates for language attributes, text alternatives, heading order, landmarks, and the contrast of text and link colors. We have not yet run a full manual test with assistive technology across every page.
Compatibility
The website is built with plain HTML and CSS and is intended to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge and with common screen readers. We have not tested every combination. The app requires iOS 17.0 or later.
Feedback and contact
If you hit a barrier on the website or in the app, or you need information in a different format, email [email protected]. Tell us the page or screen and what you were trying to do. We read every message.
If you are not satisfied
If you are in the European Union and are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the body responsible for enforcing accessibility rules in your country.
About this statement
This statement was prepared on 10 October 2026 and follows the structure of the W3C WAI accessibility statement guidance. We will review it when the site or the app changes in a way that affects accessibility, and at least once a year.
